Two of fifteen lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in 1907 and 1908 at Munich and Berlin. These two lectures, numbers 5 and 6 in the series, are from the lecture series entitled, Perception of the Soul and of the Spirit, published in German as, Die Erkenntnis der Seele und des Geistes (vol. 56 in the Bibliographic Survey).

The first of these lectures is also known as, How to Avoid Psychomatic Illness, and the second as, Keeping Physical Health. They have been translated by Sarah Kurland, and are presented here with the kind permission of the Rudolf Steiner Nachlassverwaltung, Dornach, Switzerland.
