How do the human organs: heart, lung, kidney, liver, spleen, etc., reveal themselves in a person's psychological makeup? Knowing this, might a person relate to the world out of higher knowledge instead of physically pre-determined tendencies? Particular attention is given in these lectures to the relation of the inner organs to soul activities and disorders.

This edition of Therapeutic Insights: Earthly and Cosmic Laws, is a translation of five lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in Dornach, June 24, 26, and July 1, 2, 3, 1921. They were not revised by the lecturer. The July 2 lecture appears here in a revision of a translation by May Laird-Brown which appeared in Psychoanalysis in the Light of Anthroposophy, published by the Anthroposophic Press in 1946. The other four lectures were translated by Alice Wulsin and Gerald Karnow from the most recent German edition in Menschenwerden, Menschenseele, und Weltengeist (Bibliographie-Nr. 205), 1967, Rudolf Steiner Nachlassverwaltung, Dornach.
