Two lectures on: the concept of disease in old and new times. The blue-blindness of the Greeks. Diseased forces of our intellectual life. The life-time gap between natural necessity and morality and its overcoming.

By Rudolf Steiner

Translated by Violet E. Watkin
Bn 198.1; GA 198

Two lectures, numbers one and two of seventeen, from the lecture series entitled, Healing of the Social Organism, published in German as, Heilfaktoren fuer den Sozialen Organismus. They were given by Rudolf Steiner at Berlin, in the Spring of 1920. The first of these lectures has been subtitled, Therapeutic Activity in Science, Art, and Social Development.

The lectures focus on: the concept of disease in old and new times; the blue-blindness of the Greeks; diseased forces of our intellectual life; the life-time gap between natural necessity and morality and its overcoming. Both lectures have been translated by Violet E. Watkin.

This translation is presented here with the kind permission of the Rudolf Steiner Nachlassverwaltung, Dornach, Switzerland. From Bn 192.1, GA 192, CW 192.
